It's an Alumni Affair~

Was checking out the workstudy jobs available. It's spammed by a job from Alumni Affairs department.

Clicked to see what it's about and saw this.

Then I rem the phonathon job that I was working on. 9SGD an hour to sit in the room devoted to phonathon. Phonathon is this activity under Alumni Affairs, everyone just call the alumni to "update details" and then ask them to pledge, that is to donate money.

If you are a NTU student, you will notice by final year, you will start receiving TONNES of good quality prints asking you to pledge.

Then I recall a very very recent event whereby the NTU's president came to adm and everyone was to ganchiong because apparently, he's kinda like the 2nd richest guy in SG. Of course, through hearsay (means can only believe 20%), and of course, they shd had discluded the gov ppl, the whites of sg.

Well, it almost gives me a hint of the big capitalist world out there. How the income gap can grow into a monster and some ppl can get so freaking rich. Very interesting huh. Like how the world is truly like the Russian doll.
